On July 2nd, we lost a great Shire stallion who was a tremendous influence on the breed, a wonderful presence on the farm, and a beloved member of our family.  Cowerslane Nomination passed away surrounded by his loved ones, both human and horse.  He arrived as a youngster from England, and the moment he set foot on our Colorado farm, he endeared himself to every heart he encountered.  No one was a stranger to him.  He was part of three  generations of the Parrington family and he blessed us with 25 magnificent years of memories and lovely  Shire babies.  Govy, enjoy your eternal pastures.  We will love and miss you always.  TALLY HO SHIRES
