One of the great daughters of our
legendary matriarch "Englander's Second to Last Mae," Bess is coming
16 years old this year and has produced a string of nice horses in
her lifetime, the most notable perhaps, is Tally Ho Bentley.
Bentley is a key player in our hitch and does a marvelous job in
cart and halter. Due to her age and her status as "queen," we
only foal Bess every other year. She is a beloved member of
the family and doesn't like to be called 'old.' Bess regularly
joins in for riding or being hooked for parades, and spry as she is, it
looks like she'll be a part of our Tally Ho activities for years to
come. |
