What 17-hand
Griffin lacks in size, he makes up for in heart. He is the
sweetest of our boys and is very fond of people - usually the first
to greet you. He loves pressing his face against your chest
and being loved on, as well as gobbling most of the treats if he can
get them away from you before you have a chance to offer them to the
other horses. He is out of our Bailey mare which gives him
that sliver of Clyde that we feel has fostered his proud attitude.
He has his mother's incredible rear-end and hock-set and those
smooth, sweet joints. Griffin was Reserve Champion gelding in
2004 at the Western Regional Shire Show in Los Angeles which attests
to his impeccable conformation. Watching him move makes you
wish you had about 3 more of him. He's always a favorite at
our annual driving clinics and is a marvelous 'teacher' for hooking
our young horses for training. |
