She shouldn't be on the sale page but we wanted you to see her with the other 2008 foals.  This filly is a daughter of Englander's Second to Last Mae, "Bess," a beloved matriarch of Tally Ho Shires.  Bess was born to us 17 years ago and is sired by Cowerslane Nomination, our senior stallion who is possibly the oldest living Shire in the country.  Bess has been producing great Shire babies for Tally Ho her entire life, most notably is Tally Ho Bentley, our accomplished and well-known wheeler, cart, and halter gelding (co-owned with Judy Brodland of Sauk Mt. Shires).  Bess was a harness mare herself and she still participates in fun drives and our annual clinics (she is not about to bested by the youngsters).  A full sister to this filly is "Gabby" who is owned by Patti LaCourse of Cool, CA.  Gabby is making her harness debut this year and we look forward to seeing her in the ring.  This year's filly promises to keep Bess' legacy firmly in place with Tally Ho Shires for many years to come, and for that reason she is remaining with us.  We couldn't resist sharing her first photos.
