Our hitch geldings
are to Tally Ho Shires what the Budweiser Clydesdales are to
Anheuser-Busch; highly visible and much-adored mascots of the farm.
They have a following of fans and are the center of attention when
we're on the road. Visitors have come to the farm and pointed
out the geldings by name, confessing to staring at their web
pictures and memorizing the details of their favorite Tally Ho
horses. Further bronzing their popularity among Shire and
driving enthusiasts is their regular use in our annual driving
clinics. Every gelding 'volunteers' his time to teach our
students the art of driving. From the boys of Tally Ho - Dick,
Griff, Buck & Ben - sling some harness and check 'em up. |
