Tally Ho Bentley
set a new standard of performance with his clean sweep of cart and team
classes. His 3 year old team mate Tristan brought additional punch
to the performance arena as the pair wowed the crowd and swept the Shire
hitch classes. Motor, might and move is what this pair is all
about, and Judge Paul Bedford used them in every class. Tristan
was the winner of the 3 year old and under halter class with his 18.2
hand height. Judy Brodland was the show photographer and loved her
unique spot in the middle of the ring to photograph her handsome Ben.
Kim did a fabulous job turning out the big gelding she bred, and she
definitely drove like she stole him! An amusing note to this stage
is that after the 2nd day of classes, announcer Bill Addis busted Kim
and Judy in front of the audience and informed the crowd that the
photographer doesn't just seem interested in the big black gelding, she
is an owner! Everyone enjoyed the laughs. Congrats to Vicki
Hauser's "Trip" who made his debut in harness with the hitch.
