A DAY AT THE RACES - MEXICO STYLE

Shad, Kim & Alex traveled down to Mexico City in November and had the fantastic opportunity to help Renata Malo-Juvera show her hitch of Tally Ho bred horses.  We arrived on a Wednesday and spent 2 days working on the unicorn hitch: Tally Ho BK's Trevor (2 year old), Echo Valley Emmy Lou (2 year old), and Echo Valley Cooper (3 year old) -- all of which are Deighton Black Knight sired offspring.  Kim also spent time riding Tally Ho BK's Sabrina and Tally Ho BK's Sir Camelot to prepare them for a riding demonstration.  The whole ensemble was then transported to the "Semana De Caballo" in the heart of Mexico City at their premier race track facility which is much like our Kentucky Derby.  We hooked and drove the 3 young horses in a unicorn for 4 performances and they performed impeccably in front of crowds of more than 70,000.  We also rode 4 Shires in a drill team event for 2 performances.  We hope you enjoy our photos from Mexico.  Thank you to Renata and Cedar Creek Shires for allowing us to be a part of this historic event!
